Default How do I install an automatic tranny?

I just did a motor swap on a car with an auto tranny and I was just wondering if there were any special steps that needed to be taken before the car is drivable? I know with a manual you have to connect the shift linkage and bleed the clutch, but with an auto what do you do? I shifted through all the gears and it doesn't feel like it is ingaging, but it is still on jack stands and I wont really know until it is on the ground with four wheels. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
