how do i get rid of this....??¿
how do i get rid of this.... its a ZC motor, but its using the SI wireing harness and distributer.... i have the ZC distributor.... but i dont feel like taking it to a shop so they can rewire the whole chet..... is there any way i can keep the SI dizzy, and lose the clamp...??¿
wtf??
That should be held on by a 12mm bolt. I would NOT recommend you drive on that very much longer.
If the threading is stripped, replace the cap on there that is held by two 10 mm bolts that you can see in that picture.

i took the pics at the wrong angle.... its a huge difference... the top bolt doesnt match up.... theres like a inch difference.... and the other 2 holes dont match up at all.... and ive had it like this for the past 5 months.... i've taken this beater all over the place..... the clamp has never failled.... but it just looks tacky..... but the clamp ownz.....
lol ya.
I am not too sure if the Si dizzy will work. But it should.
I would definitely hit up the EF forum. You should have the morning EF crew tap into that a lot faster.

oh... and last week... the waterpump messed up, and took out about 10 teeth off the timing belt.... we thought that parts from a older model integra would fit... the ones with a 1.6... but no luck... i got the water pump from a 89 civic SI.... and the timing belt from a 86-89 2.0 prelude..... the guy at auto zone cross refrenced the numbers on the timing belt....... what a mission...

It's hard to tell from the pics, but is there a big enough flat spot on the dist base to drill another hole that matches the mount on the motor? What else does the mount that bolts to the motor do? Could you add a spacer under it to boost it up? Get someone to weld another piece onto the end of the mount?
wow... drilling another hole is a great idea.... but it sounds like a mission....
