Default How do I Connect a Toggle Switch To The Clutch Switch For the HONDATA?

Ok So Obviously we have the 2 step option as part of the Hondata Stage4b and with the clutch pedal pushed in the two step is activated and I can't rev past a certain rpm. The problem is that When I need to do Burn out I need to rev high like around 7-8 but obviously to do a burn out I need to push in the clutch at first, rev and dump. But with the 2 step set at 5 I can't go any higher. So I was told I could put a toggle switch on the wires connected to it, so I thought I figured out the - wire and the + wire (or so I thought) I was using a test light to make sure which one was which and the Negative turned on the light and than I went to test the other wire which I assumed was the positive but got no light on with my test light. So I'm assuming If I hooked up a switch to it wouldn't work. Unless you guys have any other ideas or something I didn't try. Any help wold be great! Thank You

all you should have to do is put a toggle switch onto the wire that goes into the hondata unit that came from the pedal switch

That is what I was planning on doing but I was getting a signal of + current out of one of the wires when I was using my test light. I found the ground and just assumed the other was positive but when I went to test it....... nothing?? But I will try it again and see whats up?
Thanks Guys

It doesn't matter which wire you cut and put the toggle switch on, you're interrupting the signal either way...I just cut one, and put wired in some wires so that I could install a toggle in a remote location.
