Default How do I calculate the A/F ratio using o2 sensor voltage?

Just as the topic reads.... I just got a digital O2 sensor guage that displays the voltage that the sensor is reading. I need to figure a way to convert this voltage to an accurate A/F ratio. Is there some sort of formula? My sensor only reads between 0-1 Volts I believe. So it's just a regular Honda O2 sensor, not a fancy wide-band.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by MrTodd &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I need to figure a way to convert this voltage to an accurate A/F ratio. Modified by MrTodd at 4:59 PM 8/11/2003</TD></TR></TABLE>

Unfortunately, if you are only using a non-wideband O2 sensor, then you can not do this. Your sensor will only tell you if you are above or below stoich. It will not tell you the A/F. The ONLY way to get an accurate A/F ratio is to use a wideband.

I understand... I just need some sort of method to give myself a good idea of what A/F ratio my sensor is 'sniffing'. I know the readings aren't going to be as accurate as a wide-band, but I need to know what I'm looking at!
