Is there any way (marksins/etc) to verify tha an LS crank is an LS crank? Can you measure the stroke of the crank somehow? I'm looking to buy an LS crank, and I don't want to un-knowingly end up with a b16 crank instead...

Can I measure the stroke with a ruler (i.e., use the top of one journal and measure the vertical distance to the top of another journal)?

Smaller journals... good to know. I'm goign to bring my gsr crank with me tomorrow to compare the 2... I just want ot make sure that I don't pay for an LS and accidentally get a b16 crank... will I be able to tell the difference with my naked eye by looking at the strokes of the 2 cranks side by side?
