got a 89 civic dx but with a obd1 motor and the car is converted to obd1 wondering how to convert it from cable vss to electronic cause its throwing a cel code

also i have a DC2 teg cluster so just wondering

a;so would i be able to swap back to my ef cluster and put a cable vss sencer in the tranny? motor is a f22b would a cable vss sencer out of a b18a work? or will i still have the check engine light??

 

If put the electronic VSS in and run a wire to the ECM and the cluster. The wire will be "Y"ed, to run to both.

 

You'll also need a speedo that uses the sensor instead of the cable. Any '90 and up should have what ur looking for.
