how can I test if my diff is bad
strange humming noise in the front of my car, all the details are here...

anyway it has been suggested that it might be the differential going/gone bad. other than the noise, how would I know if it had. what is the proper procedure to test if it had gone bad. this is a pretty much stock 99 accord, so no LSD unit.
