hot to remove a 4-1 header with A/C in the way???
i have a 4-1 header installed......it's been on the car for a while and just recently i put the A/C system back on. i used to easily be able to remobe the header with the compessor and A/C lines out of the way.............
but now i need to remove the header again but it looks like it's gonna be extremly hard with the compressor and lines in the way.............
are there any tricks you guy's use to removing and installing a 4-1 once peice header on your b-series engine??

yup, theres a trick to that. I couldn't install my 4-1 at first, I got so pissed off I decided to practice at it.
First, you need to have your upper radiator hose disconnected.
Also, it is wayy easier with your radiator or radiator fans off.
Tilt the bottom of the header toward you a little ..making the bottom collector pipe swing above the front crossmember. Tilt the top of the header toward the passenger side (toward the hole for your intake pipe). The header should look almost as if it were laying down on its side.
Damnit its hard to explain in words, I wish I had a digicam
Once you have the header in that position laying on its side, the trick is to pull the bottom turn of the header (where the header makes its turn toward the collector) up and out towards the radiator while keeping the top header tilted on the passenger side.

i was thinking i had to remove the rad for this...........damn............without that A/C compressor in the way i normally have the header off in 15min...........
