Default Honing Block question

I recently purchased a stock re-built b18b short block in which the previous owner didn't use oil while self honing the block.

Should I be worried about how the rings should seat in the initial break in process?

as long as he used some kind of lube like wd-40 it will be fine. or you can go back over it with a hone. they cost like $30 AT NAPA.
