Default hondata and smog

i know people have passed with hondata tuning etc.. but i was just wondering can i have a stock programmed chip for smog and one tuned for the new car setup? or should i just have the car tuned with the hondata and buy a new gsr ecu for smog purposes only?

For 94 gsr.

obd1

This is what im planning for the car.

skunk stage 1 cams
itr jdm pistons
skunk 2 manifold
aem cai
port/polish not to crazy by portflow
and hondata.

so would a stock gsr ecu pass would these mods?
or how should i tell the tuner to tune the car in terms of a/f etc.. i would rather sacrifice a few hp and pass than buying a new ecu

ask him to tune it to nearest of 14.7:1 a/f at load second gear 15 mph and at 25 mph that is if you guys use the dyno for the smog. a portable 5 gas analyzer would be a great tool to tune it.

a stock ecu should pass with ur mild setup
-if not u can just ask a tuner to tune on a smog dyno and save that program 4 smog

(14.7-1 is only air/fuel
on a 5 gas timing is very critical
it controls hc and nox s)

You can burn a stock chip for it that will make it act just like a stock ecu.
