hondata shift light
I hav a s200 with a obd2--obd1 conversion. the shift light never worked. I was told by a good honda tuner it is because the tach signal comes from the sensor in the timing cover not the ditributor. The cure is to convert to a obd1 dist.? I have an rpm activated switch that I am going to try, but why dosent the damn thing work? I think the blue box is fubar, but I dont really know what is in the blue box and what is left in the ecu to really know. Hondata says that mine is the only one that dosnt work and they will check it out. Mayby I should send it back. Wacha think?

Brought it back from the dead because I'm wondering who has wired in PARALLEL a bright LED to it, and if so, what kind are they using.
