Default Hondata S200

I've search and could not find any info. First of all, I have a P28 and just got my
Hondata s200 w/boost. The CD that came with the unit did not clarify on how to install it by detail.. If anyone here on this board knows where the two resistor goes to. The install manual said to solder the 1.1 k ohm resistor into R54 and the
J1 can be acitivated by soldering in a jumper wire or use an unused resistor lead. My other questions are, can the resistor be solder in any direction, meaning the color rings around it. Does it matter. Also there is the other resistor that has only one color ring in it. Any info would be appreciated. I have solder ROM socket and the 74hc373 socket already along with the CN2 socket. I also cut out the J12 resistor out as well. Thanks,

Resistors have no polarity so it doesn't matter which direction you solder it in. The single band "resistor" really isn't a resistor, black stands for zero which means there is no added impedance (it's really just a jumper). If you haven't already used a piece of resistor tail to jump J1 go ahead and use this piece that Hondata supplied you with. Hope this helps
