Default Hondata connection convention

Hi, I need some ECU advice.

I have a 1994 Civic UDM ECU socketed with a Hondata S300 chip.
I would like to connect my laptop to the unit.
I've found some info on http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Home/WebHome explaining what connections should be made on the board, but there was no information on what the convention was for the plug/socket to use.
Also I'd need to know the convention for pin connection.
If I take the car to a tuner, I'd like to feel pretty sure they can connect straight up.

TIA
Cheers
Brian

The S300 uses a normal USB plug. You should not have to concern yourself with the TX/RX/GD, etc... of the cable.
