honda transmission sticker help
I have a jdm tranny in my car, its a jdm b16 with ctr lsd. anyways the sticker came off along time ago and I never thought twice about it.
I got my hood popped a while back and now the cops are hasseling me about my transmission being stolen.
they served a search warrent at my house and took 3 jdm trannys that had no stickers and 2 american trannys that still had vins. they did not however take the tranny out of my car that does not have a sticker on it.
im being charged with chop shop and possesion of items with tampered vins.
now to fight my case I have to find out what kinda adheasive honda used on their transmissions and what the life expectancy was for those stickers are.
they are trying to say I took the vins off and I have to prove that these stickers do fall off on their own under high heat applications like racing applications and steam pressure washers like enthusiast like us sometimes do.
anyone got any ideas?
