no worries, thought I killed my motor... I am 95% sure I have a fatigued header/gasket/missing bolt in my TEG. It sounds like a lawnmower when goosed at idle/cold, when it warms up... it becomes more masked/quieter this is all accompanied by an exhaust smell in front of the engine now.
I made my engine 'sneeze' I guess you can say. I left a 19mm wrench on the PS pump when I was fixing a distributor rotor screw that was pissing me off. I had to align the rotor, so I spun the PS pump. Anywhoo, I started the car with it this way and it got hung up on the frame... it went cha chug/SLAAAAAAAAM!! ting daladningding...(wrench falling under car) I guess the force of the engine wanting to start and being stopped abruptly wasnt good for my aging exhaust manifold. I have been pushing WAY too much through it anyway...
I may need another GSR header to confirm my suspisions. HMMM wonder where I might find one?
