Default honda maintanence question

ok, i have a 94 sol w/ about 72k miles. i got this car back in january w/ a "pre-owned certification" from the dealership. i'm not sure of what maintanence routines they've have performed and when i called the dealership, the f*cking sales guy just beat around the bush giving me bs answers. just to stay safe, i'm thinking about doing a major tune-up. my question is, should i have the valves adjusted? fluid flushed? or is this unnecessary? thanx

i would recommend, adjusting the valve clearance, changing the spark plugs, replace the fuel filter, cap, rotor, spark plug wires, flush the cooling system, change the oil and tranny fluid, MAYBE timing belt (although the recommendation is 90k miles), and the necessary gaskets for the parts you've replaced.

it might be a little overkill but, the essentials are on the list.

more than likely it was changed if your clutch was changed because it is necessary to drain the transmission in order to remove the axles to remove the transmission.

Try talking to the service department at the dealer you bought the car from. Ask them if they have any service history on the car. If they have done anything to it they should be happy to let you know what.
