Does anyone know of a site that shows much each honda engine weighs? from d-series, b-series, and h22's?

I've heard the short block weighs about 160 lbs. Anyone confirm this?

I'm sure many people would like the know. Anyone weigh their engine before swapping or shipping?

 

I can tell you an H22 with tranny, upper exhaust, alternator, full intake, weighs 475lbs. Not that doesn't cover any other accessaries...

 

i can weigh my spare b18a block and gsr head w/ full valvetrain if you wish..still it wouldnt include al the heavy stuff such as a/c powersteering..accesories etc...

 

The shipping weight on my sleeved B16 (with internals, without head or tranny) was 145lbs. That was one heavy bitch to load and unload from my trunk when I shipped it out and once it came back. (Yea, i had to pick that **** up myself and load it into the back hatch of a 92 Integra in a wooden crate!)

 

Shipping wieght for my d16z6 complete block, head, intake manifold, flywheel and clutch was 140lbs. (minus a fuel rail, injectors, alternator)

 

i thought the h22 was 385lbs?

i remember reading that someplace. hmm...
