I wanna know.....for example is 206k highway miles better or worst then 206k town miles

this is in the wrong forum, but 206k city miles is much worse than 206k highway miles.

I think it depends on what kind of highway miles they are talking about. In large urban areas, highway travel is just as bad as city travel. think about all the stop and go you do during rush hour travel. So these kind of highway miles are pretty much the same as regular city miles.

To answer your question, miles are miles period! 206K miles are a lot and I would sink any money into a car with that many miles on it.

why would it matter, exactly like previous quote miles are miles, also how would anyone now if it has this many highway and this many city.

i think this is just and age old trick to fool the uneducated into buying a car. miles are miles. like "female driven only", like i don't know girls who push their cars hard. and "never smoked in", if the smell is gone by the time u get there u'll never know. pple lie for money all the time

highway miles are a LOT less stressful on a car compared to city miles

highway miles are typically considered constant speed cruising on smooth roads such as interstate hwys

city miles are usually considered stop and go potholes braking long idle times, higher temps

generally speaking you can drive for many many many more highway miles with less wear on the chassis, drive line, and suspension compared to city miles
