high idel, wtf?
my car is ideling prity high, like 1500-2000 rpms. i unpluged the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) witch should have made it idel higher, but un-pluging it had no effect. the idel adjustment on the throttle cabel are set as low as posable and the idel adjustment screw on the throttle body is set right. could the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) be bad?
Is this when the car is warm?
Get some brake cleaner and clean out the IACV. Burp the water system by taking out all water bubbles in the system, also tighten the fast idle valve underneath the TB.
HTH.

Does putting your finger over the the IAC air port cause the idle to drop?
