Default high compression with JRSC

would it be ok to run 12.5:1 compression with Jun 3's on pump gas with a jackson racing supercharger? let me know whats up so i dont blow my motor.

the supercharger will be absolutely useless with those cams

high compression is ok... just needs to be tuned very well...
but as for the cams..you'll be better off with a turbo cam....

wow! I didn't know that you can run 12.5:1 compression with a supercharger! That is crazy! Would it be a reliable motor and can it run on pump gas?

youd hafta run reallllllly low boost.... and whats the highest octane you can get there?

not possible my home boi has a high compression lsv 11.8 to 1 and no matterhow the tune was it started to ping at 6 000 rpms and it was tuned by shawn church. oo he took off the supercharger and made 221 horse power wit blox 3

Do you already have that motor setup? It is soooo not what you want for a jrsc app. I'm running 9.2:1 compression, w/ gsr in. cam, and itr ex. cam, and 15 psi. Oh yeah, and pump gas. This setup is just more reliable, and w/ over 240 ft lbs. @ 3,500 rpm...hold on.

different cams and if you attempt to supercharge intercooling is a must.
jrsc's heat up air a LOT
