i was just thinking, when i put on a sohc head once and toqued down to 70lbs i got 220 compression .....

i know it should be around 200 ... does this extra 20 result in more power, and how much??? is it dangerous?????

haha .. i know its a retarted question ....

While I know why he shouldn't bother overtourquin, why would he be asking for warpage by overtourquing? As long as its done in steps, it should not warp a thing

Don't worry about head warpage. Worry about bolt stretch or even snapping bolt. Always torque to spec and never over. If the motor doesn't seal at stock torque theres something else wrong.
