That's a clutch pressure switch. Goes on the tranny.

What model / model year are you driving? Most auto tranny's have 2 pressure switches and can be different colors.

it's a hydro GSR tranny. are you sure about your answer?

I agree. The only sensors that I can think of that have a threaded end and a single wire/pin like that are the oil pressure sensor and the knock sensor. However, the oil pressure sensor does not have a plug end. So I say knock sensor. I'll cross the part number when I go to work tomorrow just to be sure.

 

looks like a knock sensor from a H-series engine.

 

hmm.. i'm almost %100 sure that its not a knock sensor.

definately is a pressure switch of some kind... power steering pressure switch?
