HELP... what does this mean(blown motor?)
ok my car died and i finally got to check it out... when i removed the spark plugs, they was alot of carbon build up on them. the tips(ones u push up or down to gap) were desintegrated or jus broken off.... WTF. this is the worst plugs ive ever seen. anyways i took off the headers because there was oil around them... there was alot of sludge in cyl #3. i started it up there is no exhaust coming out of cyl #4 and there is oil drippin of cyl #3.. what does this mean
its not funny
... well the motor started up and i dont think the pistons are blown..?? are they??.. headgasket yes.. thats why im gettin a new one from sum guy on h-t.. my cr is 13-1 and with his gasket ill lower by .2..
but what causes the oil to dripp on cyl #3 and no fire on cyl #4...???

No it isn't funny. You should perform a compression test. It sounds like you're gonna have to take the head off and have a good looksee what's going on.
NO, I'm not laughing. It's the nasty heat gremlin.
Not all the pistons go at once. Yes, it could just be the head gasket (I hope for your case) or a seal...
In your first post you said your car died, not that you got it started again. Yes, your car could start with a hole in one of the pistons...

hopefuly ill get to open her up sat morning because well here in jersey its a lil too cold... but im hoping its a bent valve...easy fixer because if its my block, im done.... no more building motors for me... ill probably end up with a 4 door ford or sumthing...lol
Noooo! Not a Ford!
Unfortunately, a bent valve doesn't induce sludge. A lot of oil entering the chamber usually happens with a hole in a piston.

could be bad rings also either way its pretty internal gonna have to pull a lot apart to fix, take a compression test on your cyl. and see thats a good way to find out also
OK I OPENED UP THE block......... cylinder # 3 is detonated...... warped... that pretty hard on all motor.... now i gotta get my blok bored 20 over. IS this a good idea?
I'd likely go .5 or a full 1mm over. Either way you'll hafta replace the pistons. Any idea what caused all this? You running really lean for some reason?
just before it blew, i was running really rich... with 310cc i had my fuel pressure set at 40psi. i dont know, but the only thing that could of casued it was lack of oil, and not letting my car warm up enough.
Sounds more like detonation, but you know the circumstances better than I. Usually it's a bearing that pays the price when you run out of oil.
