Oh, one weird thing is that if I reset the ecu like disconnecting the battery for like 15 minutes then replugging it in again the Check engine light dissapear? Well, did that yesterday and thought the check engine light was nothing because that time I didn't read the code. So now, today goin home from work that check engine light came back on agian please help. Went home and check for the code it was throwing code 9 Please help. How do I fix this CYP Sensor? Also can I throw code 19 (Automatic Transmission Lock Up Control Solenoid Valve) on my 01 gsr manual? Cuz i'm not sure if the begining flash was the starting point or is it just a pause? Cuz I been watching the flashes over and over and that one long pause comes in again? Does it mean that its restarting the code or thats the 10 digits? Please help me with my Check Engine light problem. Hoping to get fast response cuz its gettin dark and I want to fix this b4 tomorrow goin to work. Thanks. Or I threw code 90. Not sure can't tell the difference between the pause if its a 10 digit or its just a pause to restart the cycle again.

How about code 90? btw, when you say wiring problem what do you mean. I just recently hook up a a/f gauge and it work fine for 1 day then the next day I got check engine light goin home from work. Can it be my a/f gauge is hooked wrong? But my a/f gauge is working fine to me so I don't think its the a/f gauge. I don't know need feedback please. I can't drive with check engine light on need to fix!!! For ignition I tap it in the clock. Sensor was to o2. Ground to ground.
Here are a list of codes http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/codes.html

Doesn't help man back up to the top. Please someone help me!!! Need to fix this problem as soon as possible. Would not like to drive it with the check engine light on. It would be bad right? Will it hurt the engine performance if you drive with the check engine light on for the whole time?
Long blinks = 10's
Short blinks = 1's
When its time for the code to re-flash, there will be a puase...not a blink of the light to indicate that its about to show the same/next code.
So if your getting 1 long blink then 9 short blinks after it, that is code 19 which shouldn't be happening with a manual ECU.
Is this car ALL stock? While don't you unhook your A/F meter, reset the ECU, and see how things go?
Putting 2 & 2 together, it seems it was running fine, you installed an A/F meter, now things are screwed up....get back to a baseline.
Now, if it was a code 9 [Cylinder Posistion Sensor], how is the car running? Since our ECU's uses sequential injection, the ECU needs to know where the #1 cylinder is....which is what this sensor indicates.
As sgT has said, since this sensor is mounted in the dizzy, the only way to fix it is by replacing the distributor housing, which has all 3 sensors. However, you should check your wiring to ensure its integrity.
Do you have access to a multi-meter?
