Hey whats up guys. I really need your help. I hear an annoying squeaking noise in my engine bay. It sounds like its comming from under the intake manifold, but I am not positively sure. I tried to look under it but I couldn't really see anything that might make that noise. If ANYONE has any idea or can help me, that would be extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance.
give more details.. does it happen as soon as you start the car? or drive? shift? i assume its 5 speed.. could be clutch/release bearing.. axles?
Yes, we need details.
I had a problem like that with my 00' Si. After it warmed up and I sat with it idleing, a strange sqeaking noise could be heard from the engine bay. Any RPM above idle made it stop. It turned out to be the water pump! The pump had a slight drag to it that made the squeak at that particular RPM. My car was at the Honda dealer for days, had them completely stumped. They went through the whole vacuum system and even replaced the intake manifold before they found the problem.
