I had to refab the back mounts on my Sparco brackets as they did not line up with the hole in the floor at all! I did not have any problems with the mounting of the sliders to the brackets though. Wish I could offer more assistance.

Did you buy the universal floor mounts, or were they model-specific to your car? Either way, my sliders don't seem to line up with my brackets. Well let me back up a second. First I should say that I'm not completely sure how to mount the slider to the bracket, before going off saying they don't line up. Now with that said, I am doing what most obviously seems correct. Should the two brackets (one on each end of the slider) with the three holes in it be pointing up, towards the top of the car, or down, toward the floor?

I cant figure out what you are describing by your explanation.............I dont have any way of posting a pic or I would.

One half of the slider should be smooth with holes in it and the other half will be raised up in the center with the mounting holes(looks like a strip has been welded on). The smooth flat surface goes down(mounts to the bracket) and the other(with the welded piece) to the seat.

You might have the incorrect hardware cuz I didnt have any troubles except for mounting the bracket to the floor.

Alright well I follow you so far... I now know which side goes up and which goes down. However, I don't understand how the slider bolts to the bracket now. This is a crappy diagram I drew real quick... any help?

Your diagram is a "red x". Anyway, you should bolt the slider to the seat first and then slide the slider forward and backward to expose the holes on the end and put the bolts in .

ah ha! i found the culprit... everything is solved. the problem was... i bought the sliders off of ebay. the description "claimed" they were new, but they obviously werent. the guy who had them before me attached a piece to the bottom of the sliders... probably some sort of custom fabrication for what he needed them for. the holes that you were describing that attach to the bracket are filled with a nut and bolt to hold his extra piece on. i did not realize this because i assumed that added piece was in fact part of the slider. but after examining the picture on the sparco website, i realized that the added piece is not supposed to be there. taking it off will free up the holes to attach to the brackets. thanks everyone.
