TRYING TO CONVERT FROM CLUSTER W/O RPM METER TO CLUSTER W/ METER

I HAVE 94 CIVIC DX COUPE, THE CLUSTER DOES NOT HAVE AN RPM METER. I KNOW I CAN GET A CLUSTER FROM A DIFFERENT CIVIC WITH THE RPM METER. POINT IN CASE I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE IM GOING TO NEED AND FAR AS CONNECTORS ETC. IF U DONT UNDERSTAND PLEASE REPLY BACK AND ILL MAKE CRAP MUCH EASIER TO UNDERSTAND. PEACE

I WANT 2 KNOW EVERTHING...... WHAT ISSUES WILL I RUN INTO? WHATS THE DIFFICULTY? WILL IT EVEN WORK CORRECTLY?

Plz turn off caps.

Get a cluster from any 92-95 civic with a tach. Your current plugs should be the exact same. The only shitty part i can say about the cluster swap in a 5th gen (compared to a 4th gen) is you have to pull like half of your dash off just to get at the bugger, compared to 4 screws on the cluster hood of a 4th gen.

 

Thanks alot bro, i think it was kind of a dumb question cuz i figured i could do it, guess i just wasnt to so sure. I hope all turn out well when i get it out etc.
