so this is the deal,

my reverse light doenst light up....

checked the bulbs (brands new)
check the fuses (brand new)

ANY one have ne idea what might be the problem ? any info will help thanks in advance

reverse switch.

 

There is an actual reverse switch on the transmission. Not sure about sutomatics, but on a manual trans it will be the only sensor up on top other than the speedo. Looks to be around a 21mm socket and towards the front of the trans. Of course they could all be different.

 

I think the reverse switch for auto's is actually in the shifter console itself.
