Default help with replacing 12v wire

i fried the 12v wire while installing a radio in my 94 civic, there is no rubber around the wire anymore. i tracked it , its bare all the way to the fuse box. any ideas? please help, i would like to have a radio in my car soon. forgot to mention, everything works fine, so i dont think i damaged anything. any help is appreciated

Which wire did you burn, acc. or 12V+ constant?

Why did a fuse not blow, was a bigger then specified fuse used?

How exactly did you "fry the 12v wire"? 94
