I pulled my #1 plug. All orangesh brown deposits on the boot, the plug is rusty, and the plug gasket is flaking apart. The plug is not heavily carboned, nor shows signs of detonation. The plug wires are shot, actually arc marks (wire shows it) are all over my billet plug wire cover. SO, I found out why ny car is hesitating and stumbling at high RPMs. Is there a copper plug replacement for the NGK iridium plugs that come stock?? I want a non-resistor type plug. Does NGK make such a plug?? I was also going to get the NGK wires. Where is the best place to get these?

 

NGK ZFR5F-11 (copper) Plugs; check carparts.com for wires also. Price is very reasonable.

 

I'm doing a search for v power NGK plugs. All I seem to find are sizes like this: 14mm x .460 in. reach, 5\8 in. hex, V-Power spark plug
What size are the stock plugs?? What are the 'projected' type of plugs??

 

a little orage is ok . how much deposits are on it you might be just fine.
