I just had a workshop install a Quaife LSD for the '96 Civic EX but the speedometer isn't working. I thought the Quaife was a bolt-on replacement unit for the stock diff. We manually spun the sensor and the speedometer does move. The workshop claims that the speed sensor thing (has a gear-like end) won't align with the drive gear?? They also said other LSDs (eg. Kaaz) had a special replacement unit for the speed sensor. I'm not aware of any such thing required for the Quaifes.

Could anyone who has brought and installed Quaife LSDs confirm/deny these speedometer issues?
