Help: Problems with my B16A
I have a JDM B16A in my 93' EG Civic Hatch, and the problem im having is this.
When I come to a stop my car will idle weird, it will rev from 750rpm to about 1.5k over and over again. It will stop doing this after about 15 secs and stay at 750rpm. But once I go again and then come to a stop it will do that again. Also, if I put in the clutch before coming to a complete stop, the revs will stay at about 1.2k until I come to a stop. Then they will do the weird idle reving. Any ideas on what could be causing this or what could fix this.
Also im not using a B series fuel pump, im using the one that came witht he car if that helps.

Re: Help: Problems with my B16A (Mr. S)
When my car used to do things like that, it was a faulty o2 sensor. I agree with the other dude that it is probably a vac leak though

Re: (JDM-Vic)
the exact same setup, and had to deal with that problem for the whole summer. could be a number of things. checking for vacuum leaks, spray some carb cleaner around the im/tb area while the car is on, if there's a leak the idle will rev higher, and you should be able to see where it's leaking. most likely will be from a vacuum hose, or maybe even the tb or manifold gasket. could also be a leak in your coolant system, check all coolant hoses, or just bleed it once. for the iavc, take that out, shoot some carb cleaner in it, clean it out nicely, and then blow dry it. if that fails, use the search button, idle problems are very common and covered here on HT just about once a week. hundreds of threads...
