Help, problem with CRX SUspension ???
Alright my CRX is making the most annoying noise ever. I have a B18c in it for refererence. Im running 91 Integra LS axels and I have LSD. It drives fine when you are going str8 in a line. However, whenever you turn the wheel to the LEFT, it makes a Pop,POP,POPing noise, like metal on metal, kind of high pitched. NOT A CV AXEL CLICKING. I have replaced the Passenger side Axel twice. The first time i replaced it, i could slide the axel back an forth about 2-3 inches, so i knew it was shot. That axel only had 600 miles on it. My new axel is fine, good fitment, doesnt move but maybe .5 an inch, but its still making the noise. We are stumped. Now my lower ball joint bushings are toast on both sides. But it has only started making this noise since i put the motor back in the car. It did it before very slightly maybe once a week, but now its does it all the time. Tranny fluid is fine, no leaks, shifts through the gears fine, we have several theories.
1) Wrong axel from Autozone?
2) Differential in Tranny shot, but wouldnt it make the noise ALL the time?
3) Something is pressing down on the axel trying to force it out (the bushing problem)
4) Rack and pinion?
5) ????
I have no idea, we are stabbing in the dark. Any thoughts welcome.

Does this "POP" noise that you are describing happen when you go over bumps? Since you recently replaced your suspension did you use the correct bolts on the strut towers? there are 2 washes that you should place under the bolt if not they will get a little lose and start to rub. check those first
