Default Help please...quick

My ignition control module went out yesterday, but I am trying to find the reason. I drive a 94 del Sol S. 2 days ago, I replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. All new honda parts. Well, after changing these things out, my car dies less than one mile into the first drive. After testing everything, it turns out the control module died. Now, it also turns out Honda gave me spark plug wires for an Si instead of an S. What I want to know, is if it is possible for the wrong wires to have blown out my module. Or a bad dist. cap, or anything I just replaced. I want to hold Honda responsible, because I can't imagine my control module just straight up dying right after changing these other parts. Too much coincidence. So does anyone know how the wrong spark plug wires could have killed my ignition control module??? Thanks

Chuck

Wires are wires dude, they just have different part numbers because of the lengths.

Whats the mileage or your car?
