Default Help please!!! Identify??

What is this???

I just received my rebuilt 2.0 GSR (as in my sig.) from Import Builders.

And I noticed this part was broke. I'm not exactly sure what it is. There are four of them and then are just wired up to the wiring loom. They were just hanging off the engine when it arrived.

Help???

Here is the broke part:

Here is one of them that is not broken

Thanks!!!!

ZC_CRX, thanks for the help posting pics

Yes, a piece that is broken....

The "Greenish" Sorround from the the "Non-Broken" picture... well, it is cracked and broken off of the top pick. That is what is broken.

I thought it was a fuel injector. But I upgraded my GSR to RC Engineering Fuel Injectors. And they are all ready in place (and just not wired up). I didn't think Import Builders would leave the stock fuel injectors on there. So I just figured they were something else that I didn't know of.

Are you sure they are the stock fuel injectors??

I guess, if they are, I don't have to worry it since I have RCs. I guess they just didn't disconnect them from the wires.

(Sorry about the blurry pics. I done have a digital camera, I had "Eckerd" place the picks on a CD when I got them developed... I guess they give crappy quality.)

Thanks for your help! Sorry to act like a "newbie" with that question. I just really didn't think ImportBuilders would still send me the stock ones as well. I just wasn't sure, and was worry that I paid all this damn money and something was broken already.

if you have four of them and its what you're holding in your hand , then YES they are your stock injectors.

Yeah, they were shipped with them installed. That is what through me off. I knew I had a set of injecters installed in the head(RCs). But there was a second set that was just connected just to the wires (Stock). I didn't think Import Builders would send me two sets.

I guess that was just an oversight by them (that kind of scares me though... what else do they miss.... ). Hopefully, it was more likely that they just have no use for them, so they just didn't bother taking off/keeping the stock ones.

Oh well.... anyone one want the stock ones... minus one broken injector?
