help! obd0 to obd1 conversion in a 2g crx
i read the archived posting of the guy with the obd0 to obd1 conversion in his crx for his d16z6. i am doing the same thing, but having a different problem. i am putting a d16z6 into my 89 crx, and the car isnt starting. i spray starting fluid into the throttle body, and the car starts right up beautifully, but shuts off once all of the fluid has been used up. so, i know it is a fuel problem.
i checked my fuel injector wiring, and did continuity tests between the fuel injectors and ecu connectors, and everything lines up, and the fuel injectors are recieving 12v to each one. i know that there is fuel pressure becuase i have a gauge on the fuel line showing a constant 40 psi. when doing the conversion, i also took out my injector resistor box, and converted everything to saturated injection.
there are no check engine lights, even when the car is running on carb cleaner. i thought that perhaps it could have been my chipped ecu, so i traded p28's from my friends 93 civic hatch. both of them work on his car.
i am getting pretty desperate, and about to get an snap-on vantage (a digital scope) to see if there is any fuel injector switching. i am running out of ideas, and hope there is someone out there who can offer some insight. -matt

did u try going back to peak hold (your old injectors that you know work)
and putting back in your injector resistor box?
and putting back in your injector resistor box?
