i just put my gsr in my car and i am getting fuel and spark and the timing is perfect
y wont this start?
gsr block, wiseco pistons, eagle rods, acl bearing, type r oil pump, gsr water pump,
gsr head, supertech valve train pro 1 cams w/ cam gears
skunk2 manifold tb str fuel rail 440 rc injectors
i took out the cams and put stock back in to c if it would run but still no luck

1 = 0 comp
2 = 0 comp
3= 15 comp
4 = 60 comp
is there any way to seat the rings? i heard that i bit like a half cap of trans fluid may work

judging from the compression readings where the ring's installed the correct direction? wrong size ring ? head gasket installed up side down ? their is a lot of things that could have the results you got?
i put the rings on the rings came with a diagram of where each gap was suposed to be and the block was bored .5 mm bigger the rings came with the pistons wiseco 11.8:1 81.5mm
I just put together a built motor and it wouldent stay running because the valves wouldent close all the way.
check the valves seriously, you have had diffrent cams in and out try it !

ok i took apart the motor and i re checked the ring gaps and the are perfect .01 thats what they are suposed to be
the head gasket was on the right way on the head gasket it says "UP" so that was correct

that is my next step to adjust my valves because the machine shop had my whole head aprt to do a port and polish and cleaning so my valves could be off
and i also heard with a high comp motor i need to run 93 gas to make is run also is this true?

First of all does it crank? Even if the valve, ignition timing, piston ring gaps, etc is off it should still crank and start anyway. Recheck the wire harness and make sure you didn't miss plugging anything in.
