Default Help needed on doing a mini me to a d16y7

I plan on ending any previous plans and will now swap my y7 head with the y8. I was wondering if there are any good faqs out there to help me? I am under the impression that the head bolts directly on, but will I need to replace the rods or pistons? I plan on keeping it na, but might put a mild cam in there(or nitrious) once I get beat by a couple of cars that I shouldn't have. Headgaskets would be replaced, because the old ones prolly have 60k on them. Some new head studs and a shiny new valve cover that says 'OMG TEH TYPE AR VTEC'(or someting along those lines) if I have $$$ left over.

There is obviously more I am missing... can I keep the same fuel sytesm for now? What ECU would I get? A stock EX or maybe aftermarket? I would love to get that 'hondata' you guys always talk about to tune when vtec kicks in(for lack of a better word) instead of some cheap rpm switch. I have heard that it can smoothen the powerband and you might also end up with more torque after the swap.

So, you could either help or link me to a detailed faq. I have until summer when I pick up all of the needed parts/tools.

He replaced the pistons, but it is not necessary.
