Default Help: Need OBDIIA codes...

My check engine light is throwing me code 21 (4 long pauses and 1 short, right?). I was wondering if anybody has the book or can tell me what the code is reffering to. Thanks.

21 would be the VTEC solenoid valve (or it's circuit). There's a sticky-post at the top of the Integra forum...

Thanks, but I think it's code 41 (not 21). I don't have a OBDII reader, but I used CEL to read it, so if anybody can tell me what that code is it will be helpful.

Where is the primary oxygen sensor heater located? And what usually causes it to go bad?

Your primary O2 sensor is located before your cat. on your exhaust system. With a malfunction with the O2 sensor heater there are no specific causes for it to malfunction... at least I don't know any. It may just be that your sensor was due to be changed, because the heater element wasn't heating the sensor.

The heater is built into the O2 sensor. Measure resistance between the 2 same-color wires (black?) it should be 10 to 40 ohms. If not, buy a new sensor. If it's OK, then look for problems in the circuit that powers the heater.

ps: I should've said 10-40 ohms between the heater wires, with neither one having any continuity to ground.
