haha got your attention with the subject name didn't i
i recently got a 1st gen b16a installed in my 90 integra. the engine purrs but the ecu that came with it is garbage. i have my stock ecu that was controlling my b18a in there for the time being. everything runs great accept for no v-tec and no knock sensor. the mechanic says it will work fine until another ecu can be sourced but not to rev it passed 4k. i'm just wondering that since the ecu's obviously have different fuel maps, is it ok to be driving my car using the stock ecu? is the mechanic right?

That was dumb. What makes you think the people who want to hear about your sister being on fire would care what ecu you use or about any tech questions you have without the funny story they were expecting....
