HELP!! melted number one piston
heres my situation i recently finshed installing a b18c1 in my ek, about 2 days ago i was driving on the freeway when i thought i blew a head gasket. The next day I pull the head off and there is a hole burnt in the side of the #1 piston. upon inspection of the head it will need to be milled to remove gouges from piston material. The cylinder walls do not appear to be gouged, however there is a silvery metallic buildup in them where the piston burned thru. Aparently i got screwed with the motor that i have because the guy who ran it before me sprayed it to the moon and back i wish i had pics of the block and head but any advise or help would be GREATLY appreciated
it sounds like he already had the hole there and patch it up
in wich wont last
and sold it to you so regular pistons dont melt they break.
I suggest you go chasing after the guy that sold the block to you!

thanks alot for the reply, it doesn't appear to be a patch though, it almost looks like one of the rings or part or the skirt adhered to the cylinder wall any more advise welcome oh yeah and i don't really have much recourse in going after the gut who sold it to me start up only

Mic the cylinder to make sure it's not damaged, replace the piston and keep the nitrous to a reasonable level.
