Help me with these coil overs??
Went to a friends house last night to help him install some coil-overs he bought. We weren't sure which ones go one the front and which go one the back. They are just ebay off brand, but two of the springs are longer than the other ones. We are not sure if the longer ones go on the front or the back. Could anyone help me out?? Thanks

do they also have spring rates on them? IF so, the bigger number goes up front.
I believe the longer springs go in front to help support he weight of the engine.
Hell, give it a shot, if the car looks funny when your done then it went the other way around. But If I remember right, longer in front. When I jack my car up, I can move the rear springs up and down since they are shorter.

I bought those last year after getting my rims. I wanted a quick way to drop my Integra...bad idea. The spring rates with those are universal and made to work with all 88-00 Civics and Integras. This means that no matter how much your car really weighs, the spring ratesa aren't dialed in to work with the car perfectly. To answer your question though, you'll notice that two of the springs are slightly thicker than the other two. The two thinner springs go in the back and the the slightly thicker ones go in the front to support the weigh of the engine. If there's no apparent difference in thickness, only in length, I wouldn't dare put them on my ride unless I had NO CHOICE. Just get some H&R sport springs for $150. They work well and will give you a nice ride too.
Thanks we swaped them last night, it turns out the long ones go up front. Thanks. He is kinda on a budget so he is just going with these for now, but he needs some new shocks.
