Default Help me save money? code 1 and 9

I have a b16a (obd0) in my crx and I am throwing a code 1 and a code 9. I started my car and it seemed fine until i put it in reverse. It started running like it wasn't firing on all cylinders... it kinda had the sound and feel like it was "slapping" as i describe it. I would say it was idling around 300-500 rpm. If I hit the throttle it would rev up but it would never smooth out. It just stayed rough. I checked and it was throwing a code 1 and a code 9 so i disconnected the battery and threw on an old ls dizzy I had laying around. After reconnecting the battery I started it up and sure enough it ran terrible. As far as I know the ls dizzy should be good so that should have stopped the code 9. I didn't plan on leaving it on there, but i wanted to check to see if it was in fact the dizzy that was bad. So here are my questions.... If in fact the ls dizzy i put on it is good then what else is most likely to throw a code 9? crank position sensor? ECU? My next question is.... Isn't it more likely the code 9 making my car run bad? I feel like usually the O2 sensor will just turn on your check engine light..... should i worry about the code 1 at all?

**************UPDATE************
On the male side of the big plug that goes to the dizzy there was a blue/yellow wire and blue/green wire that I found were just hanging loose. After looking around i found that some of my wiring had gotten wrapped around the cv shaft. It ripped those two wires off thus throwing the code 9. After soldering everything back up and checking continuity from the ecu plug to the dizzy plug i was sure that it was going to run. Nope.... instead I started the car and it no longer shows any codes. However, it still runs the same.. I pulled my plugs and they are pretty white. Kinda like it isn't getting enough fuel. I cracked open the output line from the fuel filter and it is definitely getting fuel there. Below is a picture of the wires that were ripped out and a video of how the car currently runs. Remember.... it isn't throwing any codes.

We checked timing and it was absolutely perfect. After that i got to looking into the wiring some more. It turns out there were two other wires that run to the injectors that were ripped out. So that explains my spark plugs being really white. I soldered them back up and she runs like a champ. Thanks to those who tried to help me.

Well the guy that owned it before me is the one who installed the motor. Apparently when he ran the engine harness he didn't make sure to make sure it was away from moving parts and that there was minimal slack. This led to the harness catching on the cv shaft and getting wrapped around it which then yanked apart multiple wires. The hard part was tracking down what had been yanked apart and where. Needless to say i went through all of the wiring in the engine bay and re ran it so that won't be happening again
