Every time i start up the car, it smells like gas. The out side of the car smells of gas, and gas smells are coming out of the muffler as well. However, there are no gassy smells coming from the engine bay. I have no idea what it is. Can someone help me figure out wat is going on with my rex? thanks in advance. o , i think i smell gas when i turn on the defroster.

If you smell gas coming from the muffler, you could be running grossly rich. But if this was the case, your car would smoke and run like crap. Is this the case?

 

no. smoke doesn't come out of the muffler and car runs fine. So still have no idea wats wrong.
