well i been riding my ls swap hatch for about 4 month now. I was racing the other day with a buddy than all of a sudden my car just out of nowhere jerk back on me(yes i overrev a little). Than all of a sudden it was running really rough. It backfires, idle funny, and it studder alot when i accerlate. The main thing i inspect was my whole exhaust system is just shaking like crazy. I hear puff puff from my muffler all of a sudden. I just check my timing belt to see if it slip but all the marks were line up. Do anybody think it could be a clog cat? No check engine light btw.

 

you bent a valve, next time keep it under the red line brian....and no a clogged cat wont do that

 

but i dont hear ne kind of metal noise at all...and how can i bend the valve when my timing didnt even slip

 

you dont need to jump a tooth to bend a valve..over reving can easliy bend your valves

 

o man that suck....ehhh time for a new motor than

 

just do a leakdown test to find out for sure.
