Default HELP: Left Headlight Front Turn Signal

I have a small problem....It seems that my Left Headlight Front Turn Signal does not light up whatsoever, almost as if its just a dead bulb. But i did change the bulb and still nothing... Soo i need help any suggestions would be appreciated!

Some questions i have for anybody who can answer them.
1. Does this have something to do with the ground wire ?
2. Are the wires in their appropriate plugs ?

Brand New Bulb..

Picture of the ground..

Do you think this small cut on red/black wire is the problem?
or
Are these wires in their appropriate holes ?

Please help me guys

Are you any good with a multimeter or a test light? For sure that nic in the wire can cause built up resistance from corosion and the circuit will fail. I would check power and grounds at the connector.

Nope, i dont even know what a multimeter and/or a test light is.
And should i solder up that nic or something ? Or should i cut it and splice it back together ?
And how would I check power and grounds at the connector ?
Sorry i'm new to all of this.

You can get a multimeter at Radio Shack for about $30, you can get a 12V test light for under $4 at just about any car parts store.

The plug is not the headlight.
Left head light colors are red/green (low) red/yellow (high) black is ground for both.
Right head light colors are red/white (low) red/blue (high] black is ground for both.

Use a testlight or meter to check for power and ground on the leads at the plug.

The plug in the pic is the left front park turn signal...

Red/black is park light and green/red is turn signal, black is ground for both.

Use a meter or test light on them also. 94
