HELP identify my ecu setup
Yea that's right it's an OBD2b-OBD1 jumper... It allows you to run any OBD1 ECU on a 99+ Civic or 2000+ Teg... As for the ECU open it up, you only have to unscrew the top (the end opposite the mounting pegs)... Then tell me what the numbers are... Say it's a P05/06/28 it could be one of these two boards, either the 11F0-1500 or 1720-1500 (ending digits)... Just let me know and i'll get back to ya ASAP... Peace
Cool, my guess is that it is a P28... Could be a P05 or P06 but they're all the same once they've been chipped... From the looks of everything you have a '99-2000 white Civic (atleast on the inside) but are you running a DOHC VTEC motor??? Peace
yea im running a b18c block with a itr head crower valve springs and retainers and ctr cams, so right now is this ecu holding back a lot of power considering its unchipped and made for a sohc?

The ECU isn't chipped for DOHC VTEC??? Yea it's holding back a lot if it's still running under SOHC parameters... I would definately recommend a SK2 proggy with a 5200-5700rpm VTEC x-over... I've dealt with Mugen, Spoon, and PYR but for some reason they just don't seem to make better than average power... Get that thing chipped and you'll see what you were missing... Good Luck
Yup, do you see any chips where I have them circled on this 1720-1500 board??? If not then you have a stock P28, if there is a 20 pin latch IC 74HC343 (the thin one) and the 28 pin ROM over the 27256 slot (the big one) then you most likely have a DOHC VTEC P28... The chips can be in place but J1 has to be jumped in order to activate the ROM...
