help hissing sound
hey just upgraded my intake manifold and throttle boddy to skunk2 pro seriesl. after finishin when i started my car i got a pretty loud hissing sound kinda like a vacuum hose leak but all hoses seem to be on fine. never seen ne one with this manifold or tb can it just be the way manifold and tb are
seen it on many cars with intakes. spray everything with carb cleaner to make sure no vacuum leaks, if none, then it is probably due to a exhaust not breathing enough to keep up with the intake. Intakes suck a lot of air and with a stock exhaust it probably isn't pushing enough exhaust out.

ill try the carb cleaner. also the exhaust isnt stock. headers are though.

if exhaust is ok, I would think it's the manifold gasket not sitting right against the head. spray it down with carb or brake cleaner and see if motor skips.
