Default a few unique questions on an h22

ok heres my problems...

car runs sluggish when timing is set correctly and the knock sensor cel comes on after about 45 seconds. So i have it advanced pretty far, as a result, the car idles at about 2300-2500 rpm. AND when i am driving, if I stop the car and then start it again it will run horrible. Very bad hesitation when at part throttle and the idle drops to about 1200-1500 rpms, but if i turn the car off and back on again quickly it will start working good again. Very weird. any help would be great.

who did the wiring?Sounds like you could have a bad signal ground connection. And its not the same as the chassis ground.

My buddy did a swap and had horrific problems until he bought the wiring harness for the swap. Stupid cheap bastard! He even put in a 5spd. All is well now that it's wired right which is also what sounds like the problem above.

you may want to check into trying to bypass 02 sensors to see if that gives you a temp fix
