Help drop my civic
if you've never done one before, thats not the car to start on. we dropped my buddies 1999 Si and it took us 13 hours. that was with 3 people, two of which have done a couple cars, and are fairly mechanically inclined, and one guy who has done more drops than i have taken *****. the rear suspension bushings (as hondas are known for) were rusted in. to make a long story short, we made a 9:30 PM run to home depot, bought a drill press, wrecked the rear arms, and ended up custom fabricating "no-play" bushings for the rear end. i'd find a friend that knows what he (or she) knows what has to happen. if not, good luck...
for our drop lasting from 11 AM till 1 AM, and then having to drop the suspension the next day again cause SOMEONE forgot a washer or two...

Sounds like my experience, though it necessitated going to the junkyard and picking up a "new" lca for $10, which was a damned fair deal, but anyway. We also ended up having to hack the welded nut off of the trailing arm (took HOURS) and double-nutted (sounds gay) a longer bolt from some other suspension member that I ganked from the junkyard...sigh...
